Packing for an extended trip is a long and tiring process. It is very rewarding as you know you are well prepared with compact luggage. Being self-sufficient yet still lightweight is our main goal.

Climbing Gear:

  • 1 Maxim Pinnacle climbing rope (9.5mm, 70m)

Trike Gear

Panniers: our panniers are made out of two standard backpacking bags and two classic backpacking bags, from which I’ve removed the exterior frames.

Packing system: we use dry sacks to organize our backpacks/panniers, so even when our rain covers fail, our clothes and sleeping bags will still stay dry. Also, having smaller backpacks is convenient for taking short excursions.
